What is SoEarth?

SoEarth is an idea of making  an electronic,multi touch-screen globe.

In other words, SoEarth is a touch screen sphere in the size of a normal globe which has google maps/earth built-in!
After the Sphere Project of Microsoft in 2008 ( click here for more information about the Sphere Project )
I am thinking of a smaller sphere like that but with google maps/earth installed. So, think of Google Maps application into a Globe...It would be like an ordinary globe but with a multi-touch screen and of course Google maps/earth installed.
